LauraLee-L: Her Chronicles

5/5

After bad past relationships, Lisa falls head over heels for Matthew. As they become inseparable, Lisa turns to God to believe he shows signs for certain paths you should take during life. As her life continues, she delivers Issac into the world and their family of four is now complete, or so they think.

As the relationship get uneasy and starts to get violent, a turn of events sends everything downhill. As if it wasn't bad enough, arguments ensue and drunken Matt rapes Lisa. But who would believe that you were raped by someone who is the father of your children?

Getting away was the only option, but how?

As Lisa fight against her urge to give into Matthew, she finds self-confidence, remorse and a new life in which she believes to be working beautifully.

Laura Ebanks, "LauraLee", writes about a domestic-abuse story with such captivating life lessons for anyone in a toxic relationship. Sharing a personal story gives the piece more enthuses on how you never know who someone could turn out to be and it's always best to be honest with yourself.

I loved this story, it gave me a sense of self-love for my own relationship and how I am extremely fortunate to be with someone who is not physically, mentally or emotionally abusive.

As the story plays out to be an entry piece for Lisa's journal, I loved how you could feel the powerful emotion coming from her writing and how she explained her life in such confidence.

It truly opened my eyes and I would defiantly recommend L: Her Chronicles by LauraLee.

Your truly,
